H.265 / HEVC Encoder & Decoder SDK

AVBlocks provides a cross-platform H.265 / HEVC encoder SDK and decoder SDK for C++, .NET (C#, VB, F#) and Python on Windows, macOS and Linux.

HEVC delivers roughly half the bitrate of H.264 at the same quality. AVBlocks lets you encode, decode and transcode HEVC through the same simple API you use for every other codec.

H.265 / HEVC encoding

• Encode raw frames to H.265 / HEVC.

• Hardware-accelerated encoding on NVIDIA Maxwell Gen. 2 GPUs and newer.

• Control quality, bitrate, GOP and other encoding parameters.

• Mux directly to MP4 or MPEG-TS.

H.265 / HEVC decoding

• Decode H.265 / HEVC to raw video frames.

• Read from MP4, MPEG-TS and other containers.

• Integrate decoded frames into your own pipeline.
